He loos hungry indeed with his full mouth wide open Ü
Happy WW!
I can almost smell that fishy fish… lol
Cool picture! I like it, it looks… yummy!
Excellent shot! Very nicely captured.
yikes! What big mouths they have!
the fish sure looks extremely hungry.
Those are some very big fish. Do devotees come to feed them?
They look like carp (koi). The face on that one fish is quite impressive.
Nice fish portrait. What is the connection between the fish and the sacred waters?
Devotees do feed them. I read this week that they were being feed slices of cumcumber, I imagine they feed on the algae and help keep the tanks clean. It’s interesting that the sign of a fish can have a spiritual connotation. These seem to lead very tranquil lives swimming in sacred waters.
Nice closeup of the fish.
How interesting, and a great photo! I wonder if they contribute in some way (physical or spiritual) in people’s ablutions…. I would think communing with them would increase the power of the experience.
Thanks for your comment at my place, nice pic of the hungry fish!
What a great photo! What I want to know is what that hungry fish going to eat. I hope it’s not the fish near him.
Wow what a wonderful sight! Happy WW
With it’s mouth opened that wide, I’m sure it’s so hungry.
Mine are here and here.
What a beautiful shot!
Oh my…..they are lovely. Great shot!
I am guessing they are koi….I would love to have a pond with one or two koi. I would also love to visit Pakistan one day.
Have a beautiful day.
Jasleen ji is really a talented photographer!
As for the fish, talk about being at home in “the terrifying world ocean.” I have always thought about that when seeing the fish in the sacred sarovar. I’m not sure of the spiritual significance of that, although I do sense some sort of a lesson there.
He looks like a living vacuum cleaner — a bit scary.
Very cool shot, they do look hungry!!
very cool they do look like hungry fish!

Hmmm…I wonder how it would feel to wash my feet and feel these fish nibble my toes!
We once had a koi pond, and they were much more colorful, but not nearly as large as these big boys. Thanks for sharing that, Sukhmandir!
Much gratitude to you and all those souls who reap the benifits of your efforts.
If I Am anythign to you,I Am grateful.

It is interesting that fish are symbolic for many religious expressions. I always think of them as wily and mysterious. Love this photo!
Well, that picture was a surprise. I love your site on Wordless Wednesdays – always interesting and cool. I learn so much just from the pictures.
Cool picture! Definite fish lips.
When we visited Panja sahib in Pakistan there were so many large fish in crystal clear waters,
I was happy that they were vegetarian or at least did not consider me as food.
I love the fish in the Sacred Waters. Thanks for visiting Grampys Place.
