Thank you for sharing these photos and showing us the humanitarian efforts of the Sikh community. I could never chop that many onions. My tear ducts swell chopping up just one onion.

It’s tragic what happened in Haiti. It’s nice to see all the people who are willing to help and donate. I hope Haiti recovers soon and people continue to help in the years it will take for them Haiti to recover.

It’s wonderful that Sikhs and so many others are joining the Haitian relief effort. Now, if we could just transfer some of that good will to helping our own people, like maybe enacting health care reform that would actually benefit so many people in need right here.

gurfateh sukhmandir ji…like in the other blog im trying too keep the tears in check…what wonderful seva they are performing..no matter what faith one may practice coming 2gether as one world community shows how really true that we are one human family..as i pray 4 the people in haiti i also pray Waheguru bless those who act in selfless service..take care ji..

Stan you really said it! The red tape and corporate interest in this country works against the people. Haiti began receiving aid almost immediately. Just think how much longer it took for Katrina victims. Shameless bureaucracy.

My first thought was how wonderful it is to see people helping out. Something so simply yet often we do not act on it.
Second… my eyes started watering looking at all the onions he was cutting. I know they are purple and not too horrible to cut but ooo my eyes…
