Commemorating June 1984 Attack on Harmandir Sahib – Golden Temple

Since 4th JUne I have been reading on the event that took place 24 years ago. Though I was not there, and may not be able to feel so much the pain and mental agony many Sikhs expericnec on that day and day after till today…I do feel so much for everyone ther and on our holiest place.
I must say, not only Sikhs, but others be it Christian, Buddisht, Jewish, Islam, Hindus….face their trying times too. I am not sure where Humanity is heading for. I pray and wish we do not instill seed of hatred or revenge in the hearts of the generation to come. Rather i feel the truth must be known to all, justice must be met. However,one needs to do it with calm, and patient so that someone like Angad Singh Ji, 13 years old, will not lose hope in pursuing for peace and understanding. Let not any take advantage of the attack to make matters worst and prevent Sikhs from fighting for their rights with patient, calm and ocnfidence. Guruji gave us bani to be strong, to overcome obstacles and fight the mental battle… I am sure many want peace and do sympathise with the Sikhs who died and are lving in pain ful memories. It is diffcult, but Bani will help us rise above the pain and sorrows and move ….

All above discussion are ok, we do well for saving our country as well as the name of Hindu community otherwise muslims finish hindu community (few hindu people know that). Beacuse of giving so much to this country the people, country and congress govt. at that time give us a bad days which is history in the world now and every body knows the role of the govt and rajiv gandhi. One stupid comment by someone calling himself ‘pershant’ apparently a Hindu …or could be from any community trying to stir s**t. But look at the responses to that innocuous comment!! Whole Hindu community branded “cowards, greedy, slaves, etc.” More profanities would have followed but for strict administrators.

Now, being a Punjabi myself I am embarrassed once again by our attitude towards history. we (esp younger generation of Tat Khalsa elements living overseas) tend to learn history from Khallistani websites and other media of folklore.

When my forefathers were converted, where were your forefathers and why they were spared? I am not a person who believes in caste system but as a historical fact, only so-called low castes were spared by the invading muslims who put to sword every brahmin and Rajput they could get hold of. That explains the low percentage of these two ‘castes’ in northern India.

2. The other moronic, tat khalsa supremacist concept is : Sikhs (Khalsas) saved Hinduism. Thats truly laughable. have a look at the Indian map, how do you think a small community/sect fighting for its own survival in a crumbling Mughal raj (thanks to Maratha and rajput resistance) would have saved Hindus in Say Bengal, Tamil nadu, Kerala, orissa, etc? have a look at Maratha empire map and you would go absolutely green (like your Muslim brethren) with jealousy.

3. Someone has quoted an anonymous Arab scholar saying Khalsas saved India and Hinduism. i am pretty sure anon Arab scholar would remain anonymous and WHY THE HELL YOU NEED SOMEONE SITTING THOUSANDS OF KMs FROM PUNJAB TEACH YOU ABOUT THE HISTORY OF YOUR OWN LAND?

I respect and bow down in front of Sikh people sacrifice for India as a country. I did, do and always will have respect for this community. But, I am sure that this community has done all these sacrifices to protect india from outsiders and internal terror.
