Sikhs for Justice, a human rights advocacy group, is adamant that justice is a must for victims of the 1984 Delhi Massacre. Though 26 years have passed since the October 31 - November 6 act of genocide took the lives of thousands of innocent Sikhs, perpetrators have yet to be prosecuted. But Sikhs have not forgotten, neither have they given up the demand for justice. India's Congress leader Sajjan Kumar is finally facing charges in a Delhi court hearing for his part in instigating heinous crimes as Sikh were burnt alive, and hacked to death, while he looked on. Ironically Sajjan, (a name which means friend), was at the time an Indian officer of law.
