Legs for the Portable Altar

Legs for the altar can be purchased complete with brackets. Be sure that screws are included in the kit otherwise you will need 12 - 3/4" wood screws. Legs should measure ideally 11 - 12 inches in length, so that a reader may sit comfortably with legs crossed beneath the platform of the altar. The platform should be at a height which is comfortable for viewing and reading the scripture, not more than about 13 inches. The legs will have a screw imbedded in one end which attaches to a bracket. The other end may be trimmed, if necessary, to a comfortable length.

Cut the legs to length and brush with primer if desired. Finish with metallic gold spray paint, or color of your choice.
