Kallie that would be a misty haze perhaps from the water falls. Yosemite is one of the few protected pristine environments left in CA.

Where is this taken from? Is that El Cap behind you or something else? I only ask because I’ve done most of the rim trails and don’t recognize it. Is it top of Yosemite Falls, 4-mile trail? I’m dyin’ here.

thats el cap behind us… and we hiked for 3 days… and then had half dome behind us… it was a pretty hike dont recall what the trail was called though

I definitely have to get there, then! (Thought I would check the air quality, since I have asthma.) It’s a gorgeous spot, and backpacking is such fun. Faith - You should give it a try! Very nice pic, Sukhmandir.

If I recall, it was actually a quite clear day and the reason that the picture looks hazy is because of the poor quality of the camera. Yosemite is beautiful and definitely worth a visit, at least once in your life span
