This year Sikhs celebrated the 30th Yuba City Annual Sikh Parade. The parade goes on rain or shine. Some years November rain can leave big puddles. No one really seems to mind, but parking does get a bit sticky when 100,000 people show up to take part in the parade festivities.

Interesting. I have heard that Yuba City has a large population of Punjabi heritage (including but not limited to Sikhs).

I love these women costumes ! I have a friend who is married to an Indian and she used to wear them at the beginning of their marriage, but 40 years later she doesn’t do it anymore. These fabrics are so beautiful !
