Portable Altar Spindle and Slot
Measure the base of the spindle or dowels. Drill a slot in each corner of the top side of the altar platform to accommodate the spindle or dowel base. If using a spindle be sure to allow for the square base to fit inside of the side rail. Be careful not to drill through the metal bracket which secures the legs. The fit should be snug in order to support the spindle or dowel without wobbling.
